¡Hola Familia!
Well it ounds like everyone is enjoying this time of year with all the
crazy basketball games. It sounds like it will be a fun final four,
with two little schools battleing it out. And Eli looks like a grown
little boy. He`ll probably have facial hair when I get back.
But this week was definately a hard week for me. Satan was really
strong in our area and it was tough. A lot of people just said no and
didn`t want to hear anything. ANd then when they did, they wanted to
argue. It is amazing to see how much Satan can do in the lives of
people. But other than that, ELder Ramirez and I are really getting
along well. He has been a great companion with me and has really
helped me learn and grow, as I did with him.
But it is sad, because I am not with him anymore. Last night when we
reported our numbers to our district leader he told us that we had
emergency transfers. I left for Atotonilco, Hidalgo and Elder Ramirez
stayed in our area. Right now I am with Elder Stephenson. It will be
interesting to see how it is with an American companion, but I am
excited. It will be a good growing and learning experience for me.
It is amazing to see how the Lord knows everything we need and how
everytihng plays out in life. At times we feel we are ready for
answers, but the Lord makes us wait or puts us in different positions
because He knows that we need to grow. We have to trust in Him and
understand that nothing happens because of coincidence.
Thanks for all the prayers and love and support. I love you all and I
am so thankful for everything you guys do for me. Pray for me and that
I will be able to find those people ready for the gospel here in
Atotonilco. Thanks for everything. Love y`all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

¡Hola Familia!
Well there is a lot of congratulations to go around in our family. Especially because UNC won. Jason and Tiffany, congrats with the UAB. I am sure that will be a fun experience to start and a lot of change in the process. And Tiffany, Happy Birthday!!!!!!!. Make sure Jason and Eli treat you like a Queen. And Ryan and Erin, I can´t wait to hear when you guys have little baby Kevin. That´ll be exciting. And thanks for teaching Kherington my name :). It is just gonna help me be the favortie uncle. And Cory, congrats on the all state chior. Hopefully you could understand my letter and hopefully it was gramatically correct. And Mom and Dad, congrats on raising an awesome family. Aren´t y´all proud?
Well I don´t have much time to wirte, but thanks for the package. I loved it all, especially the pictures. And I get things about once a month. Oh, and my contacts are Proclear by Cooper Vision. They are a -2.25. I took a picture of the drs note.
But this week was a good week. I am really loving my companion Elder Ramirez. He is a great Elder and we work really well together. THis week I was really struck with the love that our Heavenly Father haves for us, especially interms of the Atonement. There is a video we watched this week that really put into perspective the Atonement for me. It is a video called El Puente. It was so powerful and really demonstrated the great love that Heavely Father has for us, so much that He would sacrifice His son. It is something that we should always be stregnthening our testimony on. In the mission I learned form someone that If we really understood the Atonement of Jesus Christ, there wouldn´t be need for missionaries. There wouldn´t be need for rules, or commandments or the like. We would all do what is right. It is something that everyday we need to stregthen our testimony on. THe Atonement of Jesus Christ is the foundation. As we understand it and have faith in it, the other steps to get to salvation and eternal life will fall into place.
I love you guys. Thanks for everything and for all the support and prayers. Enjoy the spring time. Love y´all!!!

Letter #41 Thanks A Bunch!!!
¡Hola Familia!
It sounds like everyone is doing really well and that everyone is enjoying this special time of the year with all the basketball. Dad, thanks for the email. I really appreciated it. Cory, congrats on the Eagle. It looks like I will still be the only non eagle scout in the family. haha And I am glad to here that Elder Jones is okay. I heard about the tsunami and wondered if it had effected him. I am sure that him and all the other missionaries in Japan will have a lot of cool experiences in this coming year.
So my new companion is Elder Ramirez. He is from D.F. It is like Washington D.C. of Mexico. I have really been impressed with our companionship and I have really felt that this is the exact companion that I need right now. I have the feeling that I am going to learn a lot with him and that this change is going to be really good. This past week I have already learned a lot and our companionship seems to be stregnthening everyday.
This week was harder for us. We worked really hard and found some good investigators, but nobody came to church. It is frustrating to work so hard and to feel like you have people that are going to come, but when you pass by, nobody is home or they can`t come. It is a constant trial of faith. We can`t ever stand still. We always need to be looking for solutions for the problems and trials that we encounter.
But I am really learning a lot here in Querètaro. A lot about myself and a lot about how we need to change. Change is such an important principle in life. It is every constant and it is something that we can always count on. We always need to be doing the things we should so that we can change and progress. And then we have to trust that we are changing. Something I am seeing is that we don`t change in an instant. Little by little, we change and progress. We learn and we grow and then as we look back, we realize how far we have come. I am so grateful for change and for all the changes that I have had in my life. It has and continues to help me grow.
I am also grateful for the many tender mercies of the Lord. Everyday we should take time to recognize the hand of the Lord in our lives and see His many tender mercies. I am so grateful for the many tender mercies that I see everyday. Something that has really helped me is my journal. In the mission, I have really seen the importance of a journal. I continue to write in it everyday and still haven`t missed a day. It is tough, but as I go back and read what I have wrote, I have seen how I have changed and I have found many answers to questions. It has really been a blessing to keep it.
Well I love you guys. THanks for all the support, prayers, thoughts, letters, etc. You guys are really a stregnth to me everyday. I am so grateful for our family and for the great bond that we have. We are one of a kind. Enjoy this time of year. Cheer on those Tar-Heels! And remember that great blessing of the Atonement. We always need to keep our perspective and remember the great blessings of the gospel. Thanks for everything.

Letter #40 Thanks for the Prayers!!
¡Hola Familia!
First of all, thanks you guys so much for all the prayers for Francisco. THey all paid off. As you can see, this past Saturday Estela and Francisco got baptized and I had the special privelge to baptize both of them. It was a very special day, especially because I know how far Francisco came to be worthy and ready for baptism. Now we are working on getting him the priesthood.
But it sounds like everyone is doing well. Jason, glad to hear your interviews went well. Erin, thanks for the pics of Kherington. It looks like you guys have your hands full and are ust about t get a little busier. And Cory, how bout them Tar Heels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So this past week was the last week of the transfer. The highlight of the week was definately the baptism of Francisco and Estela. It was a small baptism but the spirit was super strong. It was the first people that I have taught and baptized from square one here in Mexico. It felt so good.
And today we had changes. I am staying here in Querétaro in my area, but I got a new companion. His name is Elder Ramierez. It should be a good change and we are looking forward to haveing some great success. He seems like a good hard working Elder and we should do some good work for the next 6 weeks.
Mom, about the package. I should be getting the package March 16 becuse that is when we have our next interviews with President Nancollas. And for things that I need. Could you send me 2 more composition notebooks, disposable floss picks, and could you send me another years supply of contacts. In May i will need sme more, so to be sure they get here you could send them in the package. Oh, and something I thought of is I don´t have a calender. But I was thinking that Cory could make me a calender with pictures on it. Oh and also, could you send me the cd of Joseph SMith: Nashville Tribute. It is a great cd.
But this week I have really been struck with the importane of obedience no matter how things are going. Obedience is the principle of everything. I was reading in the Bible Dictionary, and it says the Faith is developed by obedience. How true that is. When we are obedient, we know that we have the right and that we can call down the blessings of heaven. Above all, we need to be obedient and do what is right. It is the thing that will bring us happiness. We will find hope and faith as we are obedient and keep our covenants that we have made.
Well I love y´all. Thanks for everything. And thanks for sending Breman my address. I hope that all and everyone is well. Thanks for the prayers and support. I love y´all.
Nos Amo
