Como estan? Well I had a pretty good week. Mom, I have been getting all of the letters. Thanks so much for sending me Elder Sargents and Koffords letters. I love em. Also, I got the package this week but it is at the post office. So today I am going to pick it up. Thanks so much for sending it!!
And Happy Birthday to EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!! September is always a big birthday month and I just wanted to say Happy Birthday.
My week this week. Well, I had my first tragic experience. I fell off my bike. I attached a picture of my knee. So what happen was we were riding up this gravel hill where all these little dogs chase us and try to bite us. So Elder Kurtz and I had picked up so little rocks to throw at them. Well I hit this little dog about 2 or 3 times in the face and then all of the sudden I went down in a hole, lost my balance, almost recovered, and then fell. I didn't fall to hard but being on a gravel road didn't help to much. But I am recovering and healing up just fine.
Those three guys that said the were going to come to church this week, didn't come to church. Pretty disappointing, but the spanish people tend not to keep commitments. But we are still trying to teach them. Also, Alicia and Sergio fel off date, so they aren't going to get baptized on Sep 25. Sergio needs to come to church at least 3 times before he can be baptized and he wasn't there yesterday, so we are going to have to push it back. Bu they are still progressing and love learning. We taught them the 10 commandments and the WOW this week and they were so accepting to it. Sergio said he drank coffee every know and then, but if its of the devil, he said he was going to not drink it. It was so cool how accepting and ready they both are. It amazes me how the Lord prepares people. All we got to do is find them. We can't be afraid to open our mouths.
Well, this week is week 6, the last week before transfers. It will be interesting to see what happens with me, Elder Johnson, and both of our trainers. who knows? But I will let you know next week what is happening.
Thanks so much for all the letters and the support. I love you guys. Thanks for always praying for me!!! Life as a missionary is so great!!! Keep praying for my visa. I can't wait to get down to Mexico!!! But I know I am needed up here in Moses Lake!!! I just keep working hard no matter where I am at. THe work is all the same. Everyone needs the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!
I love yall!!
Con Amor
Elder Glover
