Sounds like everyone is doing well. I glad that Hurricane Earl missed yall. I was wondering what was going to happen because I had quite a few people tell me it was headed to the Carolinas. But I am glad that you all are safe and there wasn't any problems with it. Sounds like Tiffany and Eli are enjoying the beach. By the time I get home, he is gonna be a little beach bum!
Cory, I hope that you didn't crash the car during your driving test! It is terrifying that you are getting your license. Buena Suerte Mom and Dad. But I am sure it is going to nice not having to drive him all the way out to Soccastee and Seminary.
Ryan, good to hear from ya! Glad that you have survived busy season. It sounds like you and Erin have a little sugar ball on your hands. I can't wait to see what she is like in two years. I mean, it sounds like she has changed so much since I last saw here back in April. But enjoy it! And that was a pretty fantastic birthday present that you got!
Erin and Kherington, how is it being back in the United States again? You two are quite the travelers. How did the wedding go?
Jason, how is Australia????? I bet you are having a blast. You will have to email me some picutres when you get back. Thanks for the talks. They were awesome. We are all missionaries so we all need to be sharing the gospel and being an example to our friends and neighbors.
Tiffanyand Eli, how is Myrtle Beach? Are you enjoying the beach? And are you getting treated like Kings and Queens? I would hope so!! It sounds like little Eli is just growing up already. Playin in the ocean...pretty soon he will be driving like Cory!! Crazy!!
Life as a missionary in Moses Lake is going good. We had a good, but tough week, especially since Sunday. Things were going really good last week. We taught 9 lessons one day and then the next day we had 7 lessons!!!! Also, last Sat. the Sisters had a baptism that was sweet. We had a potencial invetsigator come which was great. But he was drunk...so that wasn't so great. But hey, what can you do? There was also an 8 year old baptism on Friday night that we had our two investigators that have baptism dates come two. It was awesome. They felt the Spirit and after the baptism we had a really good meeting with the Branch President about what they need to do to get married. They are excited about getting baptized and married. But then Sunday came around. We talked to one of our investigators, Faulstino, on Sunday morning at 11 and he said that him and his family were coming. We were so excited. But they never came. It was so devestating because it would have been such a great experience for them to be at the fast and testimony meeting. Faulstino really needs your guy's prayers. Please pray for him and that he will be able to come to church!! And then yesterday, we found out that Alicia and Sergio, our baptism date investigators, are going to be in Spokane for 2 weeks! So we have to take them off date now which really sucks because they are both ready for baptism!! But they needto come to church at least 2 more times before they can get baptized. So I will keep you informed about them. But yesterday, Elder Kurtz and I taught an awesome lesson. It was at 7:45 last night and we knocked on one of our investigators house to see if he was home. He wasn't, but these 3 other men were, Delfino, Fidel, and Javier. We were just talking at the door and then he asked us if we wanted to come in. So we did. Then Delfino turned to the other 2 who were watching a movie and was like, "Turn that crap off. This is more important. They're men of God." It was so coo!!!!! So we taught all three of them aboiut the restauracion and they are all gonna come to church on Sunday. It was such a cool lesson and the Spirit was so strong!!!
This work is hard, but when you have little miracles happen it makes everything worth it. I am learning so much out here in Moses Lake and I am going to be so much more prepared when the time comes for me to go to Mexico. Keep praying for me and for my visa!!! I love yall and thanks for all the prayers!!!
Con Amor,
Elder Glover
