Letter #18 Lots of Ice-Cream

10-11-10

Hola Familia
So last night I put on about 10 pounds. YOu guys saw the pictures. I ate a half gallon of ice cream!!!!!! Needless to say, my weight losing isn't going to hot. JUst kidding. I actually am down to about 150 now so I am making progress. But that is a fun tradition that the Lybbert family has been doing for about 8 years. You may want to send the pictures to Justin because he was apart of it. It would bring back some old memories of his mission for him.
Well thanks for the emails and letters this week. Mom, I got the package. Thanks so much!!!! And man Kherington is HUGE!!!! I can't believe she is not even 2!!! But she is a cutie! Thanks so much for all the notes and prayers and support!
Well life is going good in Quincy. We have had a good week. The Garcia family is really doing well. Sister Garcia quit smoking yesterday which was awesome!! Her and the 2 boys are excited for their baptism dates on the 23 of October. It is cool to watch the gospel change lives. We also got a new investigaotr this week. Her named is Juana Yeates and she is married to a member. She wanted to know what Mormons believed, so her husband took her to General Conference last week to let here see it herself. well, SHE LOVED IT!!!!!! She came to church on Sunday and was balling throughout the whole scarament. She was feeling the Spirit. We are going to teach her on Tuesday and I am really exited! She is very interested and eager to learn about the Gospel.
But things are going well. This week has been hard for me with not having my visa. It has just been something that has been on my mind lately. I want to go down to Mexico so bad, but at the same time I know I need to be here. It just gets hard when you never know if the call will come and you are always trying to do your best and find what it is that the Lord needs for me to do. Pray for me!!! and my Visa!!!
Well sorry it is a little shorter today. I will try to write more next week. I love you guys. Thanks so much for everything. The prayers, letters, thoughts, just everything.
Con Amor,
Elder Glover
