Letter #21 I'm At the MTC!

10-30-10

Hola familia

So I got permission to write you and let you know that i am at the MTC again. I had asked my mission president when we were going down to mexico and he said that he had heard on Thursday. So I was going to wait to call home then, be we actually won't be leaving till sometime next week. So I am writing to let yall know that I am safe and sound and back at the MTC. My new address is

So yeah, you guys can write me dear elders so that I can get those once again.

So yesterday, we went up to the MExican consulate to sign our promisos so that we can get our visas. So now we are all just waiting to have the consulate sign our visas so we can take off for Mexico. They said we should get them probably by Monday or Tuesday. So I am thinking we are going to be leaving by Wednesday of next week but we will see. And I am not exactly sure when our p-day is. I think it is Wednesday, but I could be wrong. But that shouldn't matter because I hopefully will call you guys from the airport before then.

So right now i am in a district of 28 Elders who are all going to Mexico. 22 are going to Mexico City East or North and then 6 are going to the Puebla Mission. We all have class together. It is kinda boring being back here, but it is a great opportunity to learn more about the things that I wish I would have known the first time. There is also a lot of time to study on your own which is nice to have because out in the field, study time is really limited. So, so far it has been good to be back for a couple days, but hopefully that's all it is. Not more than a week is what i am praying for. The field is just too much fun!!!!!!

But everything is going really well. our whole district is back together again. It is fun to see everyone and to hear of all the stories that we all had for our 3 months in the field. It is crazy to think that It has been 5 months since i left. Time sure is flying by. i think it just keeps getting faster too.

Oh and i also saw an elder from Quincy, Elder Hyer. He just came into the MTC a couple of weeks ago and he is going to Tonga. He came out with us for a day before he left so it was really good to see him again and to hear how he is liking the MTC. He is gonna be a great Elder out in Tonga. And I have also seen ssome friends from BYU that I didn't realize were here. I got to see Roger, the guy that lived next to Addison and I. And I also got to see Andrew. He roomed with Cam and Kev and he played intramural basketball and football with us. It has been great to see him.

And it has been great having gym again and playing basketball everyday. I am doing more exercise now since we have it for 50 mins instead of 30 mins. And i have been eating a lot more fruits and vegetables since I have been here, especially bananas. i wisshh i could buy em, but they just go bad way too fast.

So i am not sure what else to tell ya. Oh yeah, on thursday, Juana Yeates got baptized. i was sad to miss it,, but she is going to be an awesome member of the church. she was one of those special spirits that are prepared right now. That's the goal. To find those that are prepared to recieve the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Anyway, the clock is ticking down on me. i hope this was a surprise and that you all enjoyed knowing that II am safe and sound at the MTC. Hey, do you think that you could send me these things called "perfect push ups". You can get them at Wal Mart and they are like 20 bucks. I was going to go get em in Quincy, but then the call came and I left. So I was wondering if you could maybe send em to me once i get dowm to Mexico. oh and when youu send things to Mexico, put a whole bunch of pictures of the Virgin Mary on it. I have heard that is the best way to make sure that letters and packages make it to me. Kinda contradicts what I am teaching, but it works. haha But that is what an Elder told me he had to do when his brother served in the MExico City East mission. Virgin Mary (Virgin de Guadelupe). Well I love you guys. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts and all the support. I hope that everything is going well in MB, Denver and Belgium. Love Yall!!!!

Love

Elder Glover
